Product tabs

The product's long-form content, organized into tabs beside an image — description, care instructions, shipping and returns.

This section can only be added to a product template.

Setting it up

Image sits beside the tabs. Add a block per tab, choosing from three types:

Block	Content comes from
Description	The product's own description, automatically
Page	A page you select
Paragraph	Text you type into the block

Each takes a Tab label.

Which block to use

Description is the one to start with. It shows each product's own description, so one section serves your whole catalog with nothing to maintain.

Page is for content shared across every product — shipping information, returns, a warranty statement. Write the page once under Content → Pages, point the tab at it, and updating the page updates every product page at once.

This is the better way to handle policies

Typing your returns policy into a Paragraph block puts a copy on the product template. Changing it later means finding it again. A Page block keeps one copy in one place.

Paragraph is for text specific to this section that does not belong on a page of its own.

Ordering the tabs

Description first — it is what the customer came for. Shipping and returns after, where they answer the questions that come once someone has decided.

Three or four tabs. The labels sit in a row, and past four they shrink on a phone.
