License and transfers
For the theme author
The terms below describe how Shopify Theme Store licensing works in general. Confirm each one against your own listing and Shopify's current Theme Store terms before publishing this page, and replace the support link at the bottom with your real one. Nothing here should be treated as legal advice.
One license, one store
A Greenix license covers a single Shopify store. Buying the theme once does not license it for a second store — a separate purchase is needed for each.
Development and staging stores are the usual exception: you can install the theme on a development store you own while building, without a second license.
What the license covers
You may:
- Install and publish the theme on the licensed store.
- Edit the theme's code for that store.
- Use the theme for a client store, provided the license is bought for that store.
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute or republish the theme, modified or not.
- Use one license across several stores.
Transferring to another store
A theme can move between stores in limited circumstances — for example when a store is rebuilt on a new Shopify account, or when a client store changes hands. Transfers are handled by Shopify rather than by the theme author.
If you need a transfer, contact Shopify Support with both store URLs and the order number for the theme purchase.
Support
Theme support covers bugs in the theme and questions about how to use it. It does not cover custom development, third-party app conflicts, or changes to code you or another developer has written.
Refunds
Refunds are issued by Shopify under the Theme Store's refund policy, not by the theme author. Contact Shopify Support to request one.
